I have been busy this morning adding the 2008 events pics to the gallery, and there are 8 new albums in the gallery. To make it easier for you from now on I am coding the gallery, so that means that if the pics are of Ashley you will see (A) for Mary-Kate (MK) and if both girls then (MKA). Hope that helps when getting confused! So, onto the pics and I can’t add them all here but I am adding the best so, take a look and head on over to the gallery for the rest! I have added one tumbnail from each album so you can click on them for the full album!

Well as promised I have been watching the polls, and with over 50% of the vote so far the video section was definitely the most wanted. So, I have been working hard and it’s now online. It works just like a coppermine gallery .. BUT… you don’t download anything, you can watch right from your browser! There are so many more vids to add but I have a few up for you to give you an idea of what’s to come.. enjoy.
Edit: I have left the poll up for now as it’s a good way of seeing what the fans want. The forum looks like a fairly popular idea so I’m giving it a little longer and then maybe I’ll add one.

Exciting news, well for me anyway. I have put up a new layout at the gallery. It is a theme that has been made especially for fan-sites.org hostees to incorperate the new ad codes and topbar and I love it. I just think it is so clean looking and esy to read, so please let us know what you think and head on over there..

There is a new article online at the Mirror featuring Mary-Kate as she talks about new movie ‘The Wackness’ which is released in UK cinema’s today:
As one half of the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate was seen as wholesome as apple pie. But the past year has seen her trying to shed her cute image by playing a drug user and by snogging Sir Ben Kingsley in new movie The Wackness, which hits cinemas today.
In The Wackness, Olsen plays a bohemian girl who gets into drugs. Then there’s that kissing scene with Ben Kingsley, who, at 64, is 42 years her senior.
“It is all part of being an actress,” she smiles. “But I was so in awe of Sir Ben I was more nervous about acting alongside him than about the kiss.
“It was sort of surreal. He is very professional and he made me feel really comfortable and it was pretty cool. He is one of the most talented people that I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with, so I kissed him quite happily.”

It seems that Mary-Kate has found herself in Nicole Richie’s bad books after spending time with Nicole’s man Joel Madden. Despite the fact that MK and Joel are simply just friends, Nicole is not happy with them spending time together:
Joel Madden was spotted in New York City hanging out with Mary-Kate Olsen last weekend. Despite the fact the photos looked innocent–the two were hanging out on Good Charlotte’s tour bus, in clear view of photographers, Life & Style is reporting that Nicole Richie is very upset over this.
“After the concert, Joel invited her back to see the tour bus,” their source claims. “He showed her some baby photos of Harlow. Joel isn’t one to lie or hide things from Nicole, so the next day he told her about it on the phone.”
Despite Joel’s honesty, Nicole apparently freaked out. She supposedly doesn’t want Joel hanging out with MK–even though it’s fairly well known that Nicole and Mary-Kate are friends.

Just realised there was no info about MK and Ashley’s upcoming book ‘Influence’. So here’s the lowdown:

Mystery Blogger: I’ve seen Influence! I’ve only seen a few excerpts but it is AMAZING. Ash and MK have devoted the last year to this book and it really shows. It’s obvious they have genuine interest in their interview subjects who are people who have influenced them throughout the years. But I think the best part is their personal sections in which they share exclusive photos of their homes, family memories and prized possessions. It’s definitely a look at Ashley and Mary-Kate very few people have ever seen and everyone has been dying to see. They can’t wait to share it with all their fans!
